7-12-17 I went to the Dark Side to check to see if it said anywhere -That "If they call you, you have 10 minutes to call them back" It did NOT. I asked to speak to the owner and John said he was the owner. I found out that Bruce Bussard (who was standing next to John) was really the owner). This man has a screw missing!! See comments on YELP..... He started screaming and cussing at me because I questioned his business tactics. He called the Redding P.D., which I waited for. "(Big mistake, on my part)" Two patrol cars showed up, (What a waste of taxpayers money) and said I smelled of alcohol. I told them I could not even remember when I last had a beer or any type of alcohol. They made me blow into some machine, which showed them I was not under the influence of any alcohol. Then they asked me if I was on any drugs. I told them no. They asked me if I was on any prescription drugs? I told them, "Only what my Doctor has prescribed, for the last 20 years." They said they could take me to jail, for driving under the influence of Zoloft - that I took at 5:00 am. It was 2:00 pm and they said I would have to have someone drive me home. I called my 19 year old grandson who came with his girlfriend (In her car). While waiting for David, the policeman wanted to know what kind of car my grandson drove? I told him a BMW. "(It did not dawn on me that, this police officer was asking a totally unreasonable question, that did not relate to anything)". Then he told me that the owner of the Dark Side said I could leave my brand new car there. (Even I am not that ***.) The policeman then proceeded to tell my grandson that he could take me to jail. He said my eyes were dilated. They told me my eyes were all over the place. All fabricated lies. I contacted my Doctor and he told me that what I was taking was safe to drive on. Especially, as long as I have taken this drug. I know that policemen are not paid too well for public safety. I truly believe that the City of Redding is wasting good money employing this kind of personnel. The City cannot afford the police department and had to take money from Bethel Church to continue paying these type of people. (Officer Kulptz & I did not get the other policeman's name) Where do they plan to get future money?
