I have 34 Marvin windows with aluminum clad outside and wood inside. I have replace two large patio doors , cost $1800 each . Replace due to rot on lower part of window 5 or 6 windows and now about to replace another 3 or 4 windows with the same problems. I have had these windows since 1995 so well out of warranty. But would anyone expect to replace this many windows if the product was good. Called Marvin and I did not expect them to replace windows but at least offer some type of discount on new windows. No avail. So bottom line I would NOT buy these windows. I really should not have to replace this many windows and doors. The price Marvin charges for a product that does not hold up is a shame.
