Resolved: Wrongly charged early termination fee $150!

1

Update by user Dec 12, 2018 Never heard from clearview. Although I never got another bill either. The State Utilities department told me they spoke to Managment at clearview and that clearview would “waive” the fee so I consider the matter closed. Update by user Nov 15, 2018 Still waiting for confirmation from Clearview that the charge will be waived, Customer rep at Clearview was no help at all, denied sending letter saying I needed to lock in a new rate “as soon as possible” told me I was supposed to wait more 2 months to avoid being charged. Called public utilities division at the state, they were most helpful and after reviewing the letter clearview sent me, got Clearview to agree to reverse it. Original review posted by user Nov 12, 2018 Signed up exactly one year ago Last month they sent me an email saying my rate lock was expiring and “ to lock in a new rate” They did not have a good rate so I went to another energy supplier and did what clearvuew told me to do I “locked in a new rate!” but they say I still owe them $150! Bad company stay far far away from Clearview!
