Update by user Apr 17, 2021 Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. Original review posted by user Apr 17, 2021 I closed my accounts with Varo Bank NA on March 30, 2021. 8 hours later, I got an email from Varo Bank customer service informing me that it was their idea to close my accounts based on some sort of obscure activity they didnt approve of. The email went on to state that my accounts would be left open for 7 business days and that I could withdraw the balance at any time. Not so - I tried to use the debit card to buy a slice of pizza and it was declined. I went to an ATM next door and I also couldnt access my accounts at all. It was as if I didnt exist. User's recommendation: Stay away at all costs!!
