Update by user May 28, 2018 Ok after 6 months and a failed dispute with Discover, they sent me a check for 2497. I can only assume at this point its good. This was was only after I bugged the BBB NW about the dispute. They apparently called Lee Arnold. I got a response through BBB NW out of Wa. And they said they would pay me back. I got a check from them Lee Arnold secured investments for 2497. It better be good! Dont do business with this company . Lee Arnold was charged with fraud in 2009 and issued a cease and desist order from the state of Wa. Yes fix up and old house and resell it for a profit but you dont need L.A. Secured Investments. Dont go to their seminar for 2500 and dont borrow money from them. Promised Id get the 2500 back. What they dont tell you is that there is a 3 day limit to cancel which is not divulged up front. These are con men. Hang up the damn phone. I could not attend their rip off seminar in San Deigo because my wife was crippled in a fall. I did not read the receit until 5 days had passed and canceled and requested a refund and disputed the 2495 charge with discover. I ofcourse didnt fly to San Diego to listen to their rip off speil and canceled as soon as I clicked the link on the receit. It was Dec 4th and I canceled on the 9th. I never signed anything abd was never warned about the 72 hour cancelation limit. This is fraud and theft. Discover sent me a package w a bunch of b.s. certificates and refused to reemburse me. I cant imagine the kind of dishonest crap Id get from them if I actually got a house mortgage from them. Never never do business with these ruthless pirates ever!. The BBB never even got back to me. They are crooks and should have their Cour D'lane I.D. offices raided by the justice dept. Im fireing Discover Card for failing to protect me too. I'm sueing for 10,000!
