I purchased a new home in 2017 from a contractor who started to build the home in 2004 and finished in 2006. Milgard won't replace my two defect windows because the contractor is listed as the owner. They lived in a motorhome in the driveway and the wife didn't want to live in Anacortes. I can't prove that so Milgard won't replace the windows. Happens to be a very expensive home with large windows. So much for lifetime warranties. User's recommendation: I would definitely not recommend Milgard. Any way to get out of a claim.
