I bought the model V5860 about a year ago that stopped working correctly, did not cycle when turned on and did not vacuum unless you pound on it with your fist. So I called Jardin since it was still under warranty and paid the initial shipping. There was an issue to the destination address because the shipper made a mistake. So sent an emailed via their website and also called them with the tracking number. About 7 days later I received the replacement for the warrantied item. 2 days after that I received a 2nd unit. So I contacted them about the duplicate and sent it back in good conscious because I like the company and wanted to play fair. Now, 4 months later, the replacement went bad also. Same issues again. So I called Jardin again and asked to return but wanted Jardin to send a prepaid label to ship. They replied I would get it in 2 to 5 business days via email. One week later, no email so I called Jardin and was told it will take 3 to 4 WEEKS, when asked why they sad there was a delay in the creating the labels for the returns or I could pay to send it back out of pocket. I asked if it could be expedite they refused. I asked to speak to a manager they said the manager will say the same thing. I asked to speak to the manager anyway. Then there was a click. The customer service rep hung up. So I called back, asked the same questions about the delay in receiving a label, explained that I use this unit everyday for saying food that I cook for the kids, etc. Same reaction, except it was a different CS Rep that hung up again. Now, I have been using foodsaver sealers since 2007. NEVER had an issue with the product or customer service except with this time, which means I will purchase from a different company. So much for playing fair, I should have kept the duplicate. Hopefully the next company will have better trained Customer Service Reps that are trained to assist their customers and not be RUDE! By the way, Jardin, if you read this I will be posting it in every website I can find to alert people on how your customer service (or lack of) works.
