I used to love Nine West. The quality has gone down a lot. Now that they are online only, I will probably never buy another pair again. 1) Thin soles. The sole wore out on a pair of pumps I had not worn that often. There was actually a little hole in the tip. 2) The lining peels off. THIS is the worst offender. It has happened with so many pairs of shoes (pumps and platform sandals). I bought a couple of identical pairs of pumps a few years ago and put one away as a backup. My house is air conditioned, so these were not cooking in the heat. This year, the very first time I wore them, I felt something funny on my feet. I wore them for like two hours. When I got home and took of my shoes, my feet were covered in the lining material. So much for buying a backup pair. :( Sadly, Nine West is not the only company guilty of this. I have a beautiful pair of Jessica Simpson shoes that did the same thing. I have OLD Nine West shoes that are in better condition, and still have the lining intact.
