Del Webb consistently overpromises and underdelivers. The comprehensive list of complaints is too long to list here, but here are a couple examples: 1) our living room windows completely align with our next door neighbor's living room windows and the fence provides no privacy. The homes are built close together, so we were worried about this before we purchased. The sales team assured us that our windows would be offset to provide privacy. 2) the project does not have an experienced construction manager. The closing of our home was delayed months because the project manager failed to order the electrical meter and service hook-up at the right time. These hook-ups need to be ordered well in advance... apparently no one on the team that built our home knew this. We have talked with several other developers in the area and they have not had any unexpected delays. 3) the hardware and finishes are completely substandard... we get the feeling they are cutting corners wherever that can to make a dollar off of us. They also installed tan window frames when we were supposed to get white window frames. They look like they are out of 1982.
