Parking issues and a property manager that is unwilling to help

2

I have lived at the Willow Lake Community in Prince Georges County Md. since 2017. During that time i have had several issues involving parking. And in each event the property mgt is unwilling to help a rent paying tenant. Within the past 2 years the parking situation has changed to where your guest are required to pay for parking. This in my opinion is not right and I have lived in different apartment communities and this is the first I've seen of this parking system. One of reasons for my latest complaint is at the middle of 2019 my vehicle was broken into and my Handicap placard was stolen. I reported the break-in to the police and to the property mgt. The damage to my vehicle required it to be sent away for costly repair. I had a 2nd placard which i made a photo copy of the placard in the window to prevent it from being towed until my insurance could get my vehicle to a repair shop. Days after that I had to be admitted to the hospital due to medical issues which I had to have several procedures on my foot. Since then, I have been unable to drive my Vehicle. The photo copy has been in the windshield since that time. "As" of recent days my vehicle was towed away. I contacted the Leasing office to try to resolve the issue I was told that unfortunately there was nothing they could do. When the incident happened i was told by the property management employee and by there on call police officer that it was ok for me to do so. So it is now April and this happened in December why now after all these months I'm being towed. I feel as though I'm a lease holder and if this was becoming an issue someone could have given me notice to have the car moved to a regular spot or place a replacement placard in the window. The only reason for not placing a new placard is fear of it happening a second which I can't afford at this time. Now i am being forced to pay $175.00 + dollars to have my vehicle returned and adding that I am currently out of work due to my injury. As i mentioned before this is not the only issue I've had with the towing company and mgt. There are other concerns but this is the most pressing. I constantly receive E-mail about feed back and referring future residents (I don't think so !!!!) if you can't keep the ones you have happy what makes you think I'm going to refer someone. In my eyes this is a simple fix but I'm sure this will go the hard way. Don't forget we the tenants are only reason you are in business
