Not worth the hassle
Bought policy in April, In force May 1st, 30 day wait until policy can be used, diagnosed with Cancer May 25th while being treated for diverticulitus unknown to me, submitted claim in August 2018, after which they required complete file only to be turned down. Word of advice, CS is trained to not give out pertinent info they have in front of them on a monitor, always get a different agent when you are on hold for hours, TAKE NOTES from anyone you speak with, they will intentionally LIE in order to delay a claim, now January 23rd and final resolution, paying me back for all premiums paid. Learned a lesson, voluntary coverage works by a different set of rules, unlike car, health homeowners etc. Bottom line, these people are Thieves and not to be trusted...
