Not satisfied with the way this job turned out

1

On 9/17/18 I contacted Gabriel from barns.com and set up a roof to be installed on to my sea containers. All went fine-I paid my deposit and he assured me within two to four weeks coast to coast would have it done. Five weeks went by -no answer from coast to coast. I keep calling because of snow was coming. I was able to get a hold of Madison from coast to coast--she said to me it would be another four weeks before the crew was able to install the roof. It was at that point seven weeks out. I called Gabriel and told him I cant wait that long and asked for my deposit back. He told me that they don't refund deposits and to call coast to coast and ask for the supervisor. I did and talk to a Vanessa and explained the situation of snow coming and I need the roof done. I had also gotten a bid from a outfit in Salem Oregon for $3.595.00 and your price was $5.2800.00 and they can be here next week on 10/24/18.Vanessa epilogized and told me sorry for the mishap and lowered the price of the roof. And the crew would be there on 11/6/18.The crew did show up and asked for a tip-I gave them a tip ($220.00. I had a medical issue and after the crew of two left I went to the hospital. I have been in assisted living since 11/6/18.My son told me that there were miss drilled holes in the sea containers and my stuff was getting wet. I contacted coast to coast and their reply was were are not responsible for that. But was told I owe a remainder of $851.50--I blew a cork and in my condition was not able to deal with the issue. Coast to coast has contacted several times and I am in assisted living still and my mornings and afternoons are busy. I don't need to get into what the three surgeries were about. These people say there is no record of a deduction of my bill. Promises are only as true as the company I suppose. My son has gotten three bids to repair the nine miss drilled holes and the lowest bid is $1.200.00 so that rain and snow doesn't enter the sea containers. In a short don't trust this company. I should have went with Salem company here in Oregon--but coast to coast doesn't refund deposits even though they are six weeks late on schedule. I have no idea of how the condition of the stored items are--I have not been home since 11/6/18.
