Not happy with our dining experience tonight

My husband was excited to go to Applebees in Valdosta, Ga. to order all you can eat riblets today. He did not like the ribs (full of bones) and too sweet. He is diabetic and should not eat that much sweetness anyway. He could not eat the coleslaw nor the riblets. He left it all on his plate. My salmon was eatable, but the extra salad I paid $1.00 for the cheese was not what I expected. Don't think ever a time when I did not eat my salad. The waitress appeared to be doing all she could and was very friendly and returned to the table at least once to see if all was ok. I heard the guy behind me tell the waitress he could not eat his steak- too salty and too tough! There were 3 young black women standing in the front talking personal business as we sat waiting to pay our bill of $33.00. One of the waitresses let our waitress know we were ready to leave. Valdosta Georgia is my home town and I will never recommend this restaurant to any of my friends or family. The couple with the steak issue were traveling and am sure they will never stop there again either! Years ago, my mother and I ate at that very same Applebees many times,, and it was delicious- but sorry to tell you- today was an entirely different story. I don't mind paying for good food, but get very upset when you leave most of it on your plate because you can't eat it! We went to Krystals to get my husband a few Krystals, because he was still hungry when we left Applebees! Not ok.
