My phone is not working correctly

My phone seems to be acting up, it doesn't read my touch signals probably. My drop bar shows my emails, but my server seems to not be displaying on Gmail. I'm not able to get the proper emails to my phone, meaning it's shows on my drop bar but not my email account when I open the drop bar. My battery like is short and it over heat.
