DONT DO IT!!!! Stay away from IG. They rape you at high interest rates, and do *** all to help your money grow. The company claims to support you and "tell" you the terms, the reality is they dont give you all the facts. Examples; Money was invested in one province, we moved and the investor continued to "steal" our money, didnt make it grow and was operating without a license, out of her jurisdiction. When we learned of this we found a new legal facility and the old IG rep wanted 1500$ cash for her troubles!!! THIEF. we didnt pay and threatened to call teh cops. NEXT we put monies into a TFSA with the understanding that short term investments would not be charged fees. the new skank charged us 550$!! we filed a compliant and sure enough, the rep had lied and we were offered the monies back. the latest (but not the only other issues), is we created four accounts for four kids, as per the IG reps sceme. The monies can be used by any kid, teh accounts were only set up for our tracking purposes. the idiots ar enow saying we cant use money for one kid that was allocated for another...
