On June 1, 2020 at 8:45 am, a crew dispatched from sbrown@***s arrived at my apartment (211 West Oak Street, Apt.1002, Louisville, KY 40203) at 8:45 to pack, load and move the apartment contents to an apartment in Lexington, KY 40509. The truck arrived in Lexington and the crew unloaded my furnishings and departed. Almost immediately, I noticed that my prized, exquisite and valuable marble-topped antique table with porcelain wheels was missing. I subsequently telephoned Steve Brown (my Louisville, KY contact with All My Sons) to make him aware of the problems. He instantly telephoned to say that the truck had been stopped on the interstate and cargo area was searched by video. The table was not there. During the packing stage, I observed that the table had been prepared and removed in two (2) separate actions; first, the marble top was wrapped in blankets; secondly, the exquisitely carved wooden base was wrapped and removed from the apartment. I concluded that the table had been taken to the truck. Only the crew could have known about the location in the truck of the two components. During the two days of unpacking, I noted that one (1) red/white, gold-rimmed wine glass and five (5) sherbet/champagne glasses were missing. Also, one century nightstand was damaged. I am truly pissed. User's recommendation: Advise customers of the hazards of shipping valuable cargo without insurance.
