Memory Care Caregiver
I wouldnt even give The Sheridan a star, I am a current employee and in the five months I've worked there the level of respect and care given to residents is appalling, most days and nights we are short staffed, over worked and cant properly care for resident needs. We have several that are in need of one on one care and are high fall risk and due to short staffing and the mutiple task assign to caregiver, such as housekeeping, laundry, serving meals, cleaning dining room, step in as activities aides, because we dont have a consent one. We have had several resident injury due to falls and improperly transfering, due to no in service train, gait belts, or Hoyer's left that are need. Resident are routinely left unchanged due to staff inability to get them in timely fashion, because of this resident have skin breakdown and bedsores. Countless time in my career with The Sheridan I have address my concern to the entire management staff only for them to be brush off. I wouldnt reccomend anybody to bring the there love here , nor if your a compassionate, caring, and have integrity would reccomed working for the Sheridan. Although the building is absolutely beautiful that is were the only beauty lies. As a caregiver I am sadden to have to work for company that lack the integrity and compassion for the elderly.
