Manual Log Splitter

I purchased a log splitter back in November. Used it once to split about 30 logs no more than 6in diameter. I took it today to split a few logs from a down tree, and the I-Beam that it is built on was twisting as I was putting pressure on the bottle jack to the log. Will Central replace this item that was purchased by Harbor Freight back in November 2018?
