We made an agreement with LTD Financial back in July to pay off a second mortgage we had defaulted on. The agreement was 12 months of autopay at $167 a month. We made all scheduled payments for 8 months, then our loan was sold off to Dreambuilder Investments LLC. They have no record of the agreement. Am I screwed? What can I do? I asked for LTD Financial to send them the record and they send they don't have that info because of the loan being sold, yet when I called to ask, she was reading all the info off of her computer screen. Any suggestions?
