Less than a month after signing a new lease, with yet another increase blamed on “water and sewage”, we are delivered an unprofessional letter stating we will need to sign new leases in a month because the property has been sold. Just left on our property, free to blow away in the wind. No company letterhead, no contact info, nothing. The new lease is supposed to increase our lot rent AND we are now responsible for our own water. People had signed in August with their fixed incomes in mind for the following year. I’m not asking to be exempt on paying for what I use but that’s a HUGE chunk of change for some to prepare for. Rent has gone from 300 to 400 in 5 years. So if my water bill isn’t 100 bucks a month, are you going give me the difference of the last 5 years to make up for over charging me? Or how bout take off the monthly pet charge, considering you no longer “pay” for my dog’s drinking and bathing water? Not that you did to begin with because we use bottled and pay a groomer. The manager of the park is a chauvinist religious bully who has more than once talked down to the females in this community, or refers to the bible if he can’t find a way to converse or disagree intelligently. There are numerous police calls in about him, but they can’t do anything because it isn’t criminal. There is no accountability because we don’t have access to his supervisor, or the owners. The playground is a broken down mess, but because they put in one grill and a tiny ride on thing, it’s called improved. The equipment is over 30 yrs old, and the swing set is going to collapse on a kid. One of the chains has been broken and just hanging there for weeks.
