Hired Little Rascals to REMOVE rats in attic. When SALES guy came out, after an exterior and attic examination was told, based on his extensive expertise, that based on the rat rub trails, the eave on the back of the house was DEFINITIVELY, THE entry and exit point. We sat down at the table and discussed his offerings. He wanted to sell me everything in the book: seal the house, deodorize scent trails, install a subterranean metal shield around the entire perimeter of the house, on and on - about $1200. I explained all I wanted to do was trap the rats that were there now and deal with the preventative things later. Without qualification, I was told "we will get rid of what's there by setting traps and sealing up the house," but it was possible that the problem could come back at a later date. I said I understood the long term potential, but was satisfied to catch/trap what was there and do the others when finances allowed. I signed the agreement to SEAL the house, set traps and gave them +/- $400. Two trap checks and re-bait were included. They set the traps and put an ugly wire mesh on the exterior of my house, saying that way they could be certain they had sealed the attic. Two weeks passed and no call for the follow-up, so I had to call them. They came out, found nothing in the traps and re-examined the exterior and attic for other signs of entry and exit, but saw nothing to indicate they had not sealed the attic properly and completely. Two weeks later I had to call again for the 2nd follow up. Nothing in the traps the second time, but I could hear the activity in the attic and told the field tech that was the case. He said to wait a bit and see if we caught something, if not they would try something else. When I called today to explain that the agree objective of trapping/killing the rats was not successful and to ask what was next. I waited for a call back from the service manager (the guy who lied to me the first time). I was told that unless I signed up for the $1200 service there was "nothing more we can do." So for $400 I have an ugly modification to the exterior of the my home and some rat traps. If the "other services" were required, Little Rascals should have declined the business, not shanghai'd me for $400 and moved on - BUT THEY DIDN'T. They took my money and when they were unsuccessful, basically told me to bad, to sad, buddy. Unless of course, I spent another $800. Little Rascals caught ZERO rats. If a new rat entered - then you didn't seal the house properly. If you knew you couldn't seal the house without all the other $800 add-ons then you should not have taken my money and made assurances of your extraction capabilities. These guys are thieves who will take your money and not do what they committed to. They take your cash, do some menial effort to make you think they no what they're doing and SCREW YOU after the fact. REPEAT $400 and nothing to show for it. Find another exterminator because Little Rascals WILL RIP YOU OFF. Caveat Emptor!
