Leeches

My husband has Stage 4 Colon Cancer he was diagnosed after emergency surgery last year and was told to apply for CPP disability benefits from his case worker at the time, which he did and is receiving, then a year later Desjardins turns around and says that he owes over 10,000 back to the company because he couldn't receive LTD payments and CPP benefits at the same time and that they overpayed him. He is classified as terminally ill because the Cancer has metastasized into other organs and was originally given 2 months to live but with chemo he has survived over a year now, do they want money back because he is living to long? He has payed into these benefits for over 10 years unfortunately he has to use them and this is the treatment he gets. It's not like they are going to have to pay for very much longer do they really need to do this? LTD benefits means Long Term but he doesn't have that much longer, their leeches who suck every dollar they can out of their customers. Worst then government that's for sure.
