I went to the Lower Sackville Sobeys at around 12:15 pm today and bought a store made meat pie and 2 hard boiled eggs. I stood in the 1-15 item line (which was barely moving) with 2 people in front of me. When I was behind only one more person, a man was behind me with a shopping cart full of stuff when he was tapped on the shoulder by a different cashier who said "Come over here hunny I'll ring you in"(suppose to be the NEXT person in line, me). 10 minutes later when I was finally up, carol or donna (not sure of her name) rings in one of my 2 items before turning away from me without saying anything to help a customer(who wasn't asking for help) in a different line, who was originally behind me. Not only that ( after she did what ever was more important than ringing in my 2 items) she proceeds to just saunter around behind the counter with her back towards me, waving at a store employee in the produce section. I said "ma'am, can you please finish with me?" She got really angry and slammed my card down on the counter and said "I don't care about you or what you say. Meanwhile she is being cheered on after telling me off by whoever was on the lane to the left (facing the front door)I calmly looked her in the eyes and said, "you could do your job and ring in my 2 items so I can get the *** out of here" . She says "oh whatever *** The I said "Do your *** job you fat *** Just as I said that, here comes the 20 year old store manager , he shows up just in time to hear me say that. I URGED the manager Jeff to pull the camera footage from 12:00ish to about 12:25 on that 1-15 item lane to see what she did, he only wanted to berate me about how I was talking to his employee. Jeff is a terrible manager, most likely he is new and fresh out of some *** college working for WAY less than a real talented manager would demand. Lower Sackville Sobeys is a disgrace, I won't be going back unless I get an apology , which will likely never happen.
