I’ve been extorted by Chevy of Milford, who made me buy a part that even they told me I didn’t need

After bringing my vehicle(1997 Chevy Silverado 2500 Diesel). Being told that I need a fuel injector pump by an outside mechanic and knowing that I had the fuel injector pump replaced only 15000 miles previously by Chevy of Milford. I had the truck towed to Chevy of Milford. Their mechanic told me that he didn't see that I needed a fuel injector pump. The office receptionist told me that they have already ordered the new part. Where I declined on having it being I was told I didn't need it. And that being they had already ordered it. They told me I would have to pay $700 for the part, even though I wasn't having it put in. Being that $700 was half the cost of having them put it in, I said I wasn't going to pay the $700 for nothing, so put the new in. I had a couple of minor things done being that the truck was there. It came to be where some hoses were leaking that go to the pump. What should have been within a couple of thousand, I ended up paying $7,000. I tried to ask for at least a discount on the $1800 pump. After several attempts of calling this department and that department. My last conversation was that the file was closed because there wasn't damage on the truck. I was rung around, until I finally got discusted. Those pumps usually go for 100,000 or better, from what I have learned. Them forcing me to pay for something that I wasn't going to get and the truck is running badly now. I've decided to place my complaint. The virus has held me back until now. Where as I will tend to this until I get a satisified answer. User's recommendation: Be careful.
