Don't start. This site is just ... weird. I don't want to write it off entirely, because I did get a few dates out of it, but the people who go there are weird, weird, weird. I'm Canadian, but most people who use the site are far-right Americans who seem brainwashed in some way. Many are obsessed with Trump, orthodoxy, and following a very rigid interpretation of Catholicism. I checked "liberal" to describe my politics, and I had people messaging me through the site--one guy calling me an "abortionist" and a woman who took such issue with the fact that my profile says I accept "some" and not "all" of the church's teachings. (Why was this woman even looking at my profile? It's a Catholic dating site--shouldn't you be more focused on the MEN? And by the way, might there be a particular reason why your husband left you?) Hey, whatever spiritual baggage Americans are working out right now belongs to them and them alone. Don't drag the rest of us into your political circus. I quit after two months. It's not worth the money or the time.
