i’m complaining about a fraudulent activity

I was a victim of an scam, I was given a fraudulent check I put it in my account, I thought everything was fine, than I received a check back charge on my account. I went to the bank and explain what happened and also give information of the scam showing I was targeted me taking money out my account because I knew it was there only to get this news that the I owed the bank I have been with MB, since 2009, and for this bank I had trusted over years to say they was not going to return the money was very hurting.
