I don’t know what to say

1

My daughter started here about 3 weeks ago. She is very shy and quiet .She worked at a store prior to this as a cashier and loved it but they closed. So to start working here was a good thing, she liked it, she said everyone was nice to her .Was hired for seasonal but was hoping she could stay on permanently. It was really a good feeling to see her start coming out of her shell, she looked forward to going to work. Just yesterday she clocked in only to have a manager tell her they are letting her go because she doesn’t do her work....didn’t hang the clothes from the fitting room back in proper place...strange no one ever brought this to her attention ....whatever happened to giving these young girls that want to work a chance......she was only there 3 weeks and working part time at that.....to top it off a person she knows just got hired and starts on Tuesday...Myself and a few others I told think that was rotten and to not give someone a chance is just not fair....I could see if it was a repetitive unprofessional behavior taking place ....I tried to tell my daughter if that’s how they are going to be then working there isn’t worth your time...she was very upset . I understand employers have the right to dismiss an employee but to blind side someone like that I feel is just wrong.
