Horrible Process

For Long Term Disability process is horrible. They want your life history during in interview. They ask questions that have nothing to do with the reason that you are filing a claim. The staff should be retrained to be considerate of the people that they are serving. The staff act as if someone is lying regarding their injuries even after the doctor signs a sworn statement stating what is going on with you. The staff should understanding what a person goes through after an injury and on the road to recovery. The consumer goes through physical and mental stress and the staff should not add to it. The staff act if the money belongs to them and forget that consumers pay for these products just in case they need them. The staff should be mindful that they themselves could have an incident in the personal lives or in the lives of their family and would want and need for someone to have compassion on them. The company really need to retrain it staff to be efficient at their jobs but have compassion on the people that they serve. After all the consumer is not getting anything for free, just the services that they paid for.
