Both service managers informed me that the wheel locks on my sons R were discontinued and they had a master key but couldn’t loan it or sell it.i offered to put a $1,000 deposit on it I was 7 miles away on the side of the road and I’d be back in 1 hour or less.needless to say I spent $160.00 to have a Tow truck take it to Firestone where they charged me $75.00 to remove the 1 lock that had the flat. I will NEVER purchase another VW and this was my 5th Jetta TDI 2 Passat TDI’s 2 of my 4 sons have golf R’s NEVER AGAIN and will share this story every chance I can. And they had very poor attitudes for people in the service business.
