Have not refunded a rate change; raised policy rate $125/6 months/ lied about coverage

I took out an auto policy for 6 months and paid in full. One item, "work loss", does not apply to me since I don't work. Progressive insisted it was the law that I have it. It isn't, but I paid anyway to close the policy. Over the next 5 months Progressive sent me email and letters telling me my policy was cancelled. Every time I responded they tried to sell me more insurance. I finally said I was going to file a complaint for harassment. The policy expires in a few weeks and I will not renew. The "work loss" premium is 3 times the amount of what it was, and I still don't work. I checked, and that IS NOT required by law. The policy for a car in quarantine which just sits in the parking lot went up by $125./6months. I don't like their lying. User's recommendation: Be careful. You will get a good rate the first time round but they will argue that you have to have certain provisions which you don't.
