Getting zero use of new camper because I can’t get McGeorges service department to respond

Im not sure where to even begin, I guess Ill start with me buying a brand new 38 keystone impact toy hauler from McGeorges in Ashland va. I bought it around the end of June 2018 I believe. I was able to use it a few times before I winterized it for that winter. Around April of the next year I got a letter saying there was a recall on the wires of the brake system and not to tow until fixed. So I thought luckily camper work just bought Dixie Rv in Newport News so I called them. They said they were back up three months and gave me a appointment date for the end of June. But when I took it on the appointment date and asked how long they said maybe two months, that the appointment date was only to get the camper into there lot. I still at point has no choice but to leave it there. By September nothing was done to it so I just picked it up and took it back home so I had at least something to stay in a few nights while the floors in the house where redone. Now we are in September and I cant use my camper because of recall and everyone is to backed up so I winterized it and put it up with only using it for the few nights I had my floors done. And even those nights where hot because the a/c no longer works on a one year old camper. Now we are in the next year. Its May again and now the awning isnt working, some transfer switch is bad that allows the camper to power from generator, needs inspection, needs recall fixed and a/c fixed. A lot is going wrong with it. So this time I take it to Ashland and they said they get right on it. After a month I call. Finally someone calls back after two weeks of me calling everyday. They said they were waiting on parts but they are right on it. 6 weeks go by. Now 3 months from when I dropped it at the end of May. I go up there and I think the only thing fixed is the recall. They then again tell me parts are on the way after they said they had them. So I just took the camper home and said call me when parts are in, they said ok max two weeks. That was 6 weeks ago. I have been calling everyday for two weeks and they keep promising to call me back within a hour to let me know something. As of right now I have no answers still. At this point I have a camper for two years that I paid for 6 year extended warranty. That I havent been able to get anything fixed on or even use. Im trying not to get upset. But the service dept is going to tarnish McGeorges name altogether. I can understand that with all the campers out there and can be overwhelming trying to get one worked on. That was not something I took into consideration when I bought a camper. I have a 9 year old and a six month old. My 9 year old keeps asking if we will ever get to use the new camper and I just dont know what to say anymore. This was my first experience buying a camper and trying to do some family camping but at this point I think Im ready to rethink my hobbie category to something a little more manageable and useful. This is a big monthly payment to be responsible to for no more use than I can get from it out of a year. at this point it just not working in well with our current lifestyle. Please let me know if you can do anything to help me resolve my issues. User's recommendation: Consider when buying a camper that it could take up to six months or more to get anything fixed.
