Update by user Feb 13, 2020 update: after 11 months of lies and being ignored, it wasn't until I mentioned that I knew about the lawsuit and that I have been advised to join it , that I heard from Vivint. Within 3 days I received the check that they had been promising. I know I would have gotten so much more by joining the lawsuit, but I am just so sick of Vivint and having to fight with them that I just cashed the little check and am done with them. Never once did they apologize for treating us so poorly or for stealing money from us. WORST COMPANY AND STAFF EVER! Original review posted by user Jan 14, 2020 I have been fighting with Vivint since May 24, 2019. Their sales/installation rep forged a signature and said he installed equipment in our home. We found out they have taken over $6,000 from us without our consent. Vivint had tech come to our house who confirmed we never had equipment or service from them. Their monitoring department even said there was never any service at our location. I agreed to a much lower amount to be re-reimbursed for the money we feel they stole from us, just to get this over with. We have not received the payment and the account resolutions representative that said he would have this taken care of, has been ignoring us for several months. I have emails from Vivint to prove all of this. I'm at a loss. I don't feel as we should give up the fight, but think they are just lying to us and will never give us any of the money they took from us and promised we would be re-reimbursed for. They should be ashamed for taking advantage of and treating people in this manor! I have contacted the company via chat, phone, emails to the customer support department, account resolution department, and the chat persons email and a specific account resolution rep email. I dont understand why this company has promised to return part of the money they took, yet they have not done it nor are they returning my attempts to contact them. I have in writing, from the chat and account resolution rep where they state they will have the money sent to us. I have now found that they are being sued in a class action law suit for forging signatures of people as cosigners on contracts. I guess that we are not the only one they are stealing from. And now they are ignoring my attempts to clear this matter up.
