FEMA GROSSLY INEFFICIENT GIVING ME THE RUN AROUND!

I was awarded the Severe Repetitive Loss grant for rebuilding my home. My home was completed in July 31, 2017. I received the Certificate of Occupancy. Everything has been checked and passed. However I kept getting the run around regarding the reimbursements of my award grant. Piles of paper work has been submitted and they kept on asking for irrelevant paper work. Instead of checking the paper work for the bills submitted, I was asked to submit paper work for the bills that I am not requesting to be reimbursed. Go figure. Extreme waste of manpower. Every time a complaint is filed, someone would pretend to be checking and asking for more and more paperwork. There is nothing that I have not submitted. Each invoice is accompanied by a bill, check receipt and all the paper work needed. It is worse than an IRS audit. The worse part is that they are not even auditing the paper work submitted for the grant but beyond the scope as delaying tactic. It has been 15 months and I am still waiting for my money. Meanwhile everything is in limbo and we are waiting. No news as to how long. The officer in charge of the grant has retired. The city official has passed away and we are still waiting. Perhaps till we pass away too. My husband is 75 and we can't wait any longer. Is someone out there even working on my file?
