On 07/13/2021 I signed up for McAfee protection and was charged $47.46. On 9/10/2021 a message was received that my protection was renewed at a cost of $299.99 - unless I. cancelled immediately - so I called the company (by phone) and cancelled. On that call I learned that I had signed a perpetual contract with McAfee - which I certainly had not, that the @299.99 had already been withdrawn from my Visa acccount. And that eventually it might be refunded. I do not want to support a company that is so greedy and rapacious - no matter how good its serviced.
