DON’T BUY A KAYAK

We bought a kayak pool in 2006, as I grew up with a Kayak Pool my whole life as a kid. Was installed 2 weeks later then they told us they would be out to install the pool then took them 3 days to install which is supposed to take one day. First year was not so bad. Second year had to replace filter cartridge which is over priced and they never explained that we would have to replace the cartridge each year and also the frog packs are over priced as well so we built our owe so we can add our own chorine to it. 3rd year noticed that one corner was starting to sink in the ground well it was and there was no support under that corner as there was the other corners that when installed we had to find wood for them to support the corners as they did not bring any and was not told that wood would be needed. Pressure gage on filter has never worked and now 3 years in the liner has *** on the back wall which is not at a seam and they want me to cut a 2 foot square out of the liner to send it in so it can be tested and see if they will cover under warranty or not well if we cut a 2 foot square out of the liner then we won't be able to continue using the pool they don't seem to care. I had advise them I had pictures that I could send but that was not what they wanted. The hole was the size of a quarter and was in the corner that was not supported so guessing it stretched to much, so we patch it ourselves and continued using now 11 years in we have to replace the liner and once we take the old liner out we have noticed that the walls where installed wrong and also the liner was as well. Which could have caused the wrinkles in the liner on the walls and the hole in the liner. Call Kayak Midwest and all she has to say is that well how do you know it was installed wrong you don't install pools do you. Also installation is only warranted for 1 year none of this was ever told to us by the sales person that sold the pool to us for $24,000.00. The woman at Kayak Midwest also said well pools are like houses and cars they all wear down after years, advise the woman that we would have never know about the walls until the liner was out and now it is and this is all we get. All she said well sorry you are upset and even tried to send me to the catalog department to buy a new liner for $1100.00 and to have them install it is another $1086.00 are you kidding me!! Let's not forget we have to fix the walls that are installed wrong!! DO NOT BUY KAYAK POOLS NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!
