Not sure if one of the employees is misinformed regarding purchases? I am so aggravated at this time and with the store. My sister and I were at Shaws this morning and she needed to purchase cooking sherry (which is on their open shelves near the vinegars). She had gathered all her recipe ingredients and we were cashing out. The cashier took the bottle of cooking sherry, removed it from her order and told my sister she could not sell it to her before 10:30 am?? It has alcohol in it?? Are you kidding me?? Not only is it on their available shelves, its a cooking ingredient along with many other items on their shelves that contain alcohol!!!!! So you mean they can not sell Rice wine vinegar? Red wine vinegar?? Vanilla extract (or any other extract for that matter?? Cough syrup? Mouth wash?? Etc?? Or any other item containing alcohol? I have never heard of anything so ignorant in my life.
