As the father of a high school player and long time coach, I have always believed Wilson gloves to be mediocre gloves overpriced based entirely on their paid or compensated name endorsements, and nowhere near the quality of a brand like Nokona. I was talked into purchasing and ordering my son a new glove from Wilson because it was on sale and he needed one ASAP. I didn’t expect to be surprised by the poor quality of the product, but I didn’t expect to be shocked by the poor customer service and lies told by suck a large company. I was first informed it would ship in 24-48 hrs. Then I was given a delivery date of the 21st. 48 hrs later, on the 20th, I called to make sure everything was okay because I had heard nothing regarding shipment, only to be told it was to be picked up by UPS that day. After not receiving any information regarding shipping as told, I called again on Monday, the 23rd (2 days after it should have been delivered) and spoke to customer service again, to be told this time it was finally picked up by UPS on the 21st (the original date of delivery). I was able to get a tracking number, and no other info. However, according to UPS the package has not even made it to their facility yet! Why lie to me at least two times? As big of a company as Wilson is, they could at least be honest and do what they say. Their Customer service sucks! My son has to wait no telling how long now without a glove. Thanks Wilson. I wish I had purchased locally, or at least from another company. And you may differ In opinion that they make over priced crap compared to real glove manufacturers. But you can’t dispute their service is irresponsible and undependable. It better be here soon. And Wilson...never again!
