Disappointment: At-One for Ruger Gunsite Scout

3

My disappointment with the At-One is that what could have been an absolutely beautiful concept replacement for the stock unit missed the mark simply because the finer points of manufacture are not addressed. For example, although I can accept that some minor fitting may be needed what should NOT be needed is sanding of the grip points to make them comfortable enough to use. When aiming, the fact that the edges of the grip points cut into your hands should not be the foremost thoughts in your mind. Also, the fore arm grip points are angled in the wrong direction to be comfortable. In short, what has been designed to be a very comfortable gunstock, isn't simply because they stopped before they were finished forming it. Other than that, I think it will be perfect after the judicious application of sandpaper. Hopefully I can restore the finish.
