Damaged TV was refused although under warranty.

I bought a 50' 4K UHD TV I paid 376.04 in cash on Sun.29 SEP 2019. from 9655 Macloud Trail South Calgary, AB. This was a birthday present for my 72 years, old wife. She never opened the present until her birthdate Oct 4 and discovered the TV was damaged. I phoned and reported this to the store who told me that I could have the TV replaced but they did not have one at their store. I had to pick the replacement TV at the Sunridge location and the staff at the warehouse treated me like I stole the TV and refused to exchange the TV. The release papers had been faxed to the staff who refused to release the replacement. I took the damaged TV without the box which I thought was immaterial since the screen was damaged before I picked it up in the first store.
