Hello! I have lived in Cumberland County in Fayetteville, NC for a very long time. I have bit my tongue about this way too long, and I am about to EXPLODE! I understand they need a lot of Administrative employees for the size of this county and how many schools in it. But that does not mean to make up fancy titles for people who make hundreds of thousands of dollars a year travelling, shopping, trips to Disney, treating your humongous family at expensive restaurants.......ON TAX PAYERS, (ME) MONEY! Apparently one woman who has a nonsense fancy title earns her audaciously ludicrous annual salary because she was a Principal to a school that won a Blue Ribbon??? Big Whoop. She is quite infamous, she drives only the best, Last I heard getting another new Lexus, oh, and lives in a MANSION and travels the country on our dime and EVERYTHING....and I. MEAN. EVERYTHING. is written off as a business expense! My daughter goes to school with this bigwig's niece and she was taken to WDW, and stayed at the Epcot Center's extremely expensive Hotel! You know, I know all the big wigs, even the overpaid ones that are NOT NECESSARY TO HAVE IN THE FIRST PLACE, steal from the cookie jar. Why, a couple of years ago the Asst. Super "resigned" due to misappropriation of funds....................People, this is a MAJOR CRIME HERE! WHITE COLLAR CRIMINALS! Apparently only the monies goes to them and whatever is left over goes only into the Elementary schools.......like I said, I grew up here. I now have a 9 year old daughter.......and due to the fact they are pushed so much to the limit (very badly in certain schools) that the chances of her dropping out of school is highly possible. NONE of my friends, or me, graduated. SHoot, I dropped out at 16 to have my baby! But for some reason, the drop out rate here is so much higher then any other county in NC! I have since gotten an Adult High School Diploma. Just the other day, I received 2 tubs of cookie dough I bought to help raise money for the Junior High. I went to the hair place, Great Clips, and they were fundraising for a football team to get the equipment they needed. Junior and High schools here have text books that are falling apart. But this fundraiser really got to me! Football CONTRIBUTES TO THESE STUDENTS FUTURE! The elementary schools and the big wigs have PLENTY OF MONEY. LETS DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS NOW!
