Ther was a threatening message left on my answering machine saying it was Steve Martin from US Treasury and I owed money.to the government. Failure to call them back at 619-467-3809 was a federal criminal offense. I knew it was a scam but called because I wanted to get more info. I was told I would be arrested if I did not pay money I owed. They asked questions about the filing of my taxes. They knew my name and husbands name. I was hung up on when I asked questions. I called back to tell them I was going to report them. The man had a carribean accent.
