I made a wedding cake took 3 pictures of and delivered to Floyd along with 72 cupcakes with the cake. Got No calls about cake leaning. Received a message late Next night AFTER wedding was over and said her guests were not impressed with my cake, Debby Brown Clark was the Mother. I have an email from the bride saying it was fine to bring the cake early that they would be there all morning, which neither one of them were there. The lady who was at the venue took her phone and ran over the cake and the Bride Olivia Clark Hale said it was pretty so I left it there. I was insulted and said I put no icing between the layers, the guests weren't impressed, the cake was leaning and the fondant was tough. There was no picture sent to me of the bow coming off the cake it was made with gumpaste and would have broken in pieces if it had. The bride said the cake was fine and knew nothing was wrong until the next day when her Mom told her what happened. To me this is funny you can't tell if your cake is about to fall over and you are standing behind it and its leaning that bad. I have emails at my shop and you can se who harassed who. the mother posted I was a crazy cake lady and her son Jeremy Clark threatened to take care of it. I have that on my phone. You don't wait two weeks after a wedding to say someone cheated you out of 2 dozen cupcakes. My advice would be don't mess with this lady the said thing is she works at a local hospital. One thing I hate is someone who lies to get money and if you have a problem call the shop that day so I can look at the cake don't wait til the wedding is over to complain.
