My father had purchased something from Leon’s which Desjardins finances he only had bought it in May and in June he passed away. We had to take him back home before I left I gave them 2 month and hit more worth of payment. I get home almost 3 months and they call me asking for him I informed them he passed away they asked who I was and stuff I told them. Then they said we will call you or send you a letter but most likely we will call I got a letter few days after saying I have to pay this and there was a number I called got this old guy named Joseph I spoke with him he was like yeah he died and you didn’t pay so we stopped interest for this month you informed us but we want out money I said dude I have just came back and spent 10 times the amount your asking just to bring him there give me a break he’s like yeah this is bad I can help you give you some thing put you on a plan then you can pay the same things he was paying I told him this is going to effect my credit score and I have never had a problem he’s like yeah but then when then when they see you are paying monthly it will go away I was no it won’t I know better because I worked for a bank I know all the things they tell you. Then he said to me go back to seller ask them I went I said give me sometime and they say oh the bank paid us already so it’s their problem I called back at the number in the paper they sent same guy again I told him I wanna pay it off and close everything he was so rude told me stuff that doesn’t make any sense and said you pay it off your bank account I said okay whatever I said I have to close a card that doesn’t have anything currently on it he tells me I took time to take your call I have deal overseas honestly when he said that made me feel like is this a joke is this even a bank because this is the customer service line same at back of the card why would I waste my time to even call it was so shocking I have never seen anything like this in my whole entire life. I will never even take anything from Desjardins or Leon’s or brick because they deal with same ***
