WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ALL TIME

If I could give negative stars I would. -100 stars for the worst, least responsive, most fraudulent and evasuve customer service team of all time. And -100 stars for pedalling cheap, poorly made furniture for thousands of dollars. At their prices, these piuces should be built to last. Rather, Urban Outiftters' model is to build junk, mark it up 1000 times, and leave their customers hanging or put them through *** to even get a response. I've surely in my lifetime spent well over $15,000 dollars with this company and will officially never buy anything from this company again and ensure that everyone I know is aware of the fact that they sell faulty, cheap furniture for thousands of dollars with no intention of providing any degree of support, customer service, or even responsiveness to their customers. I bought a nearly thousand dollar queen size bed from Urban Outfitters and about 1 year and 1 month into owning it the center support railing + footing broke completely. When i got under the bed to see what was going on it was clear that the internal wood where on the railing was completely eroded by the cheap and flimsy screws holding the pieces together. This bed has only borne the weight of myself (an under 125 lb single individual). It is complete and utter *** and I contacted Urban Outfitters immediately to express my dismay and disappointment in the fact that it broke so quickly. I bought this bed to last years and years. To have to replace it after 1 year is an absolute scam and travesty. Now onto the most horrendous customer service staff in the history of furniture. To sum it up, I contacted furniture customer service 6-8 times. The lower-down, non-decision makers assured me for months at a time, every time i called that they would of course make it right and that their furniture is not cheaply made. For months on end I would call, be told that they would get back to me in 24-48 hours and then weeks would go by. No one called, no one responded to emails. This is their strategy: lead people on and drag them through the mud for months on faulty product complaints. Then, every time i called back I would get a different person and have to start over. First I had a series of young women who promised to escalate this matter to their supervisors and then flaked. Then I dealt with Dana who SWORE to me she would call me back with 24 hours. Another few weeks went by. I call back again...Dana quit. Then I deal with Ruby who promised to get back to me. More weeks go by, nothing. Then Chantrelle who says they will fix this and figure out a resolution....NOTHING. Then they ask me to resend my original email with pictures and this time Crystal gets back to me with 2 sentences that essentially said "Sorry, its been more than a year so neither we nor the manufacturer will do anything to help you." Yeah, so there goes 20 hours of my life, months of frustration and the moral of the story is to spend your thousands of dollars at decent companies who will treat their customers like human beings and stand behind the faulty furniture they pedal. My days of spending thousands here at this store have finally come to an end and I'll be reporting this issue on every fraudulent company rating platform available.
