Why is my call being disconnected after 4 hours

My card was blocked and I was given a replacement card, but I was informed by my employers payroll department that I needed contact customer service to add the replacement card to my account. I have been calling for the past 2 days now and while I'm on hold once the time hits 4 hours the call is automatically dropped. My hard earned money is now just sitting in the wind and I am unable to access my funds and I WANT MY MONEY NOW I EARNED IT AND I SHOULD BE ABLE TO ACCESS IT WHENEVER I WANT. So why is it taking so long to reach a representative and why can't I activate my replacement card online or via the mobile app?
