Why i am paying a cancillation fee

I should not have to pay a 30.00 cancillation fee due to my yukon being totaled from an accident that was caused by someone rear ended me. Why should i pay insurance with Safeway for 8 years only to have to pay a cancillation fee because of someone else's neglect. Its not like i cancelled just because i wanted to User's recommendation: Dont use safeway.
