Why bother Ford does not care
1
November 21, 2018 To whom it may concern. Received a second IMPORTANT RECALL NOTICE on my 2011 Ford F150 and contacted AUTO NATION I White Bear Lake the Dealership where I purchased my truck from about this notice. The first time I received this notice I was told by the service department that it had to do with a break issue and that records indicated I had the break issue Taken care of and to disregard the notice. When I tried to give the Campaign number to the service department they did not want it , again said it was a break issue and that their records indicated it was taken care of end of story. Today I contacted AUTO NATION again, gave them the campaign number and was told to disregard the recall notice and to only contact them if an engine/service light turns on. They did not wish to schedule an appointment to bring it in. This is not the first time I have been told by the AUTO NATION service department to disregard a recall notice. The first time was when I received a notice for potential break failure. When I contacted them about it they told me to disregard it unless I have an issue. Two weeks later I almost went thru my garage door because the brakes failed. When I contacted them about this they told me not to drive my truck until they corrected the problem. I guess the only way the service department will look at a recall notice is after something happens. Needless to say I am sorry I purchased a Ford truck and will never purchase another vehicle from this dealership. I would like to discuss the many problems I have had at this dealership but I know no one cares. Rich Ciesler 31576 Redwing Ave Shafer, MN 55074 651-621-****
