I was in your store in Mount Vernon, New York on March 17, 2021, after paying for my groceries I proceeded to the exit and was stop by a security guard, and he reached for my receipt. I asked him why, was told it was your store policy. Furthermore, I ask if this was a club such as Costco, BJ or Sam's Club. I worked in the Law Firm all of my life and was told that unless you pay a membership fee that the store could not demand to mark your receipt. I refuse and returned the items totaling over a $117.00 and got my money back. Furthermore, I found that these things happen in black and brown areas. I will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I will forward a copy of this e-mail to the Law Firm in which I worked.
