Walmart’s rule of thumb is the price displayed above the item is the price the customer is guaranteed to pay!

I was in the Walmart in Camrose Albert on July 21st, 2021. There was a sign above a 55” RCA 4K Ultra HD TV. The price above the TV was $5.48. Your policy is the customer pays that price. I do have a photo to prove this. I asked to talk to the manager. As soon as it was pointed out to her she changed the price to $548.00. I asked to talk to the store manager. She had to phone him because he wasn’t in today. I did talk to the store manager about an hour, and I said I understand I can’t get the TV for $5.48 but I would pay $150.00 for it. I am not stupid and this was human error, but the sign said $5.48. He informed me he couldn’t give the TV to me for that price but would take $150.00 off the $548.00. Needless to say, we did not get anywhere!
