Waiting on approval for transmission

My car has been in the service department for three days and Im trying to figure out why is it taking so long for approval so I can get a rental and can have something to drive until the transmission is fixed on my vehicle User's recommendation: Dont trust a word they tell you will have you and your family stranded for 3 plus days.
